New Career Opportunity – Carbon Management and Sustainability Role

We have an exciting Carbon Management and Sustainability, permanent full-time opportunity.

The core tasks and responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

Develop expertise in:

– UK carbon schemes

– Carbon offsetting

– Carbon management strategies

– Sustainability

– Environmental legislation, ESG and BNG

– Establishing and developing long-term client relationships

– Carbon footprinting calculations & data analysis in line with GHG Protocol

– Innovation in carbon management strategies to reach net zero

– Sourcing, identifying and securing new sales opportunities to grow the business

– Attendance & presenting at events/workshops to represent the company and build company reputation

– Copy writing for the Marketing Department to be used across all platforms

The right candidate must have the following skills:

Essential

– A passion for furthering the sustainability agenda

– Strong data analysis and scientific writing skills

– Highly articulate and numerate

– Ability to research and simplify complex subjects for consultancy

– Degree or Masters in related subject

– Adaptable to rapidly changing marketplace

Excellent customer relationship skills

– Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication style

– Team player

– Advanced IT skills

– Ability to manage workloads and can work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines

– Excellent MS suite skills

Desirable

– Relevant work experience

– Sales experience

– Commercial awareness

Further Details:

– Office based role (working hours 9am -5pm)
