Secretary of State meets with LC Energy

As the Government’s Spending Review confirms the introduction of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), a woodchip fuelled heating system, installed at one of the UK’s most modern sports parks, has been praised by Chris Huhne, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, as a great example of renewable energy in action.
LC Energy, the woodchip fuel supplier to the system, welcomed the Secretary of State to Surrey Sports Park in Guildford as he confirmed the news that the renewable energy sector has been waiting for; the RHI will be introduced from June 2011 thereby enabling the wide scale adoption of renewable energy as a primary heat source for both commercial and domestic uses.
