LC Energy proudly participated in this year’s Heathrow Business Summit, celebrating its 25th edition, hosted at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel. The focus of this year’s summit was on exploring avenues for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to contribute to Heathrow’s sustainable growth.
Mark Lebus, LC Energy’s Managing Director, took a prominent role in the opening video during the Heathrow Business Summit’s Host Introduction session, guided by Nigel Milton, Chief of Staff and Carbon at Heathrow. In the video Mark delved into LC Energy’s wood fuel supply and collaborative initiatives with Heathrow, placing a strong emphasis on our commitment to Heathrow Airport 2.0 – a visionary plan for a sustainable future.
The day featured speeches from senior Heathrow representatives and showcasing procurement opportunities from suppliers, the Summit served as a distinctive platform for local SMEs to discover collaborative possibilities with larger suppliers. It also provided valuable insights into how engagement with Heathrow could position SMEs at the core of the airport’s operations and contribute to a broader sustainable supply chain.
