Visit us at this year’s Innovate Guildford Science & Arts Festival that will be held at Glive Guildford on Saturday 4th March 2017 10am until 5pm. Innovate Guildford 2017 is bigger and better, with the whole of G Live available for all ages to enjoy inspiring things to see, do and experience.
The event will showcase some of the most innovative and forward-looking local companies and increase public awareness of their work in, and importance to, the area. It is to also encourage visitors to imagine the application of science in the future, for solving problems and improving people’s lives, particularly with sustainable urban living in mind. Innovate Guildford celebrates the inter-reliance of science and the arts in everyday life, for example in areas such as gaming, music production, engineering design and communicates the excitement of science to a new audience through artistic media.
The event’s aim is to motivate young people at critical moments in their educational careers to embrace the exciting mix of creativity and technical skill that the most successful innovators of the future will need. There will be four zones: Engineering, One Health, Digital Media and Future Living to explore.
