Students enrolled on the Environmental Auditing & Management Systems course at Surrey University & course professor Dr Walter Wehrmeyer visited LC Energy on March 2nd.
The visit started with a talk at the head office, outlining LC Energy’s processes and management systems and the crucial role that the environment has with these. The talk was then followed by a site visit to one of LC Energy’s distribution hubs nearby for a tour by Alexander Dale, LC Energy’s Stock Co-coordinator. The site visit addressed LC Energy’s operational and management processes, product specifications, accreditation’s and health and safety and auditing.
The site visit was a success, the students found the trip enjoyable and informative and left with an wider understanding of what impact and role the environment has on overall procedures, control measures and management systems within LC Energy.
