This month LC Energy have installed a Arikazan Ventum 60kW log gasification boiler, at a property based in Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire. This boiler will provide heating and hot water to a 6 bed detached house.
The installation took a total of 4 days and entailed the fitting of the flue system, the boiler, 2 hot water buffers tanks that consist of 2000 litres each and the connection of a 3 port valve that allows the buffer tanks to send the requested heat temperature to the house.
The Ventum gasification boiler is a very quiet, efficient, and economical system. The gasses from the wood burning, travel downward and are burnt in the ceramic chamber. The hot gas is then passed through a fire-tube heat exchanger to transfer heat to water stored in the buffer tanks.
We commissioned the boiler, verifying that the boiler runs efficiently and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and operating requirements.
