The 2021 Surrey Hills Sustainability Conference Showcased SME’s Transition To Net Zero

This year’s Surrey Hills Sustainability Conference, which was Hosted at Penny Hill Park, was an outstanding success, showcasing the progress made by SMEs within Surrey in their transition to a Net Zero future.

LC Energy’s managing director, Mark Lebus, gave an informative and motivating talk about the roadmap to Net Zero. The possible options on how to achieve this and how we can support you in the process, with a focus on offsetting within the local community. The event focused on how organisations and the community within Surrey are encouraging and stimulating each other to fight the challenges faced ahead. Looking at innovative and inspiring ways on how SMEs can reduce their carbon on the roadmap to Net Zero.

The day consisted of inspiring talks and presentations, from a great line up of speakers. Discussions about how landowners are changing the way in which land and livestock must be managed, as well as current grants and schemes available to help you reach Net Zero. The offer of help and support in taking action was a key message from the event.

The day was a wonderful accomplishment, and we look forward to next Surrey Hills Sustainability Conference.
