Terling C of E Primary School asked for donations of materials, transport and labour to help spruce up the tired play area which had not been used in about a year.
LC Energy donated the wood chip and bark chippings, J.S.Wright and Sons donated the root barrier, and Reagan Landscapes allowed the use of their vans to transport the materials.
Terling C of E Primary School tired play area had not been used in about a year, due to the donations of materials, transport and labour the play area is now so popular that the school uses a rota to decide which year group’s turn it is to use the trail.
Helen Mowlam-Tett, Office Manager at the school, said: “The children could not use it before because of the flooring it had, unfortunately, we could not afford to have it sorted”.
“We would like to say thank you to some fantastic volunteers donate and restore our trim trail for all the children to use, without the donation of root barrier, bark chippings, transport and labour we would not have been able to do this.”
