You may provide your own fuel for your biomass boiler if you can source your own biomass, and are licensed to do so. You are likely to require a statement from the Environment agency and a Forestry Commission approved Woodland Management Plan. In order to receive RHI payments, you must register yourself on the Biomass Suppliers List as a self-supplier. You should also ensure the wood fuel you are using is of low moisture content and high quality, in order to maximise the performance of your boiler.
