The finale of CowParade Surrey took place on the evening of Thursday 17 November in the spectacular location of Hampton Court Palace. The magical setting, steeped in history provided a fitting end for the top twenty moos who raised over £130,000 on the night!
We are delighted LC Energy’s sponsored cow Camelia designed and painted by the families and staff at Christopher’s Hospice raised £4000 on the night for the charity Shooting Star Chase.
CowParade Leader Tim Metson comments; “I’m delighted with the success of CowParade Surrey. This project has captured the imaginations of everyone and has been so well supported. My thanks go to the sponsor’s, charities and artists who all worked so well together and of course those who successfully bid and took home our cows”.
Money raised will be distributed between 52 charities and the Surrey Hills Trust Fund.
