On Wednesday 6th November, our team took to the woodlands for tree planting with one of our clients, Engie and WP Group.
The day started with a talk by Zander Dale, LC Energy Stock Coordinator at LC Energy’s Wood Fuel Depot in Hampshire. The talk outlined LC Energy’s operational processes and supply chain management that influence the production of high quality wood fuel that is distributed from local hubs across the South East.
Most of the day was spent at Herriard Estate, where William Hamer, Woodland Consultant talked about woodland management on on the estate and the enthusiastic team got stuck in planting trees, as part of an extensive woodland management scheme. It was a great day and LC Energy would like to say thank you everyone who attended.
The LC Energy team have been planting all around the local area over the past couple of years, and are proud that we can help improve the ecology of our surroundings in this way, providing a range of benefits for the environment and local wildlife.
