Heat pumps (ground/air source) require a seasonal performance factor (SPF). This is to calculate the amount of payment you are eligible to receive, based on the electrical efficiency of the system. The SPF is included on MCS certificates, and must be at least 2.5 to meet RHI eligibility requirements.
