From April 1st 2015 the small biomass tariff for the non-domestic RHI will be reduced by 15% and the Domestic RHI tariff (for biomass) is set to be reduced by 20%.
As a result the following rates will apply for the Non-Domestic RHI from Spring 2015.
Small Commercial Biomass | Existing Tariff | New tariff from 1 April 2015 |
Tier 1 | 6.8p/Kwh | 5.87p/Kwh |
Tier 2 | 1.8p/Kwh | 1.56p/Kwh |
The Domestic RHI tariff will alter as follows:
Existing Tariff | New tariff from 1 April 2015 | |
Biomass Tariff | 10.98p/Kwh | 8.93p/Kwh |
Both of these changes will only affect installations from the 1st April.  All existing systems will be subject to the tariff set at the time of installation.
