LC Energy & Heathrow Airport Plant 1,200 Saplings

Yesterday, our team took to the field again to plant trees with one of our clients, Heathrow Airport, as part of our sustainability project. Thankfully the recent snow had cleared up, so we arrived en mass at 8am in Hascombe, equipped with wellies and shovels, to begin the planting process. Over the course of the day, we successfully planted a total 1,200 trees between us – a triumph and a new record for Heathrow and LC Energy! Roger Fitter MBE, Hascombe Estate Woodland Manager revealed a plaque which rewards Heathrow for having replanted the trees which were used to fuel their boiler.

The LC Energy team have been planting all around the local area over the past couple of years, and are proud that we can help improve the ecology of our surroundings in this way, providing a range of benefits for the environment and local wildlife. These projects not only strengthen the fellowship within our team, local community and a valued client, but also help us do our part by further increasing the sustainability of our business, proving our dedication to our company values.
