LC Energy are NAPIT and MCS certified for the installation, service and maintenance and repairs of biomass heating systems.
NAPIT is a Government authorised membership scheme accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) giving consumers access to registered installers across many trades, including electrical, heating, plumbing, ventilation & air conditioning, microgeneration and building fabrics who have shown their competence with the requirements for particular schemes e.g. MCS. Even though work carried out is not on the behalf of or under the control of NAPIT, NAPIT monitors and audits each member to ensure they are fulfilling their responsibilities.
MCS is recognised mark of quality and a standards organisation that certifies low-carbon products and installations used to produce heat or electricity from renewable sources, such installations including heat pumps, biomass, solar thermal, photovoltaic, micro-CHP and wind turbines. MSC certified installations are eligible for financial incentives, such as the Feed in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive.
As a NAPIT member and holding the MSC certification LC Energy demonstrates competence and compliance with the schemes requirements, including safety, quality and compliance.
