LC Energy have won biomass fuel supply and engineering contracts with several international airports. For example, our contract with Heathrow Airport – the 7th busiest in the world – began in 2010, and is set to continue until at least 2025. Heathrow’s energy centre uses our premium woodchip to produce power and heat for buildings and terminals across the airport. In addition, our work with Stansted airport since their refurbishment in 2008 has helped them save an estimated 1,750 tonnes of CO2 per annum, a huge step towards a sustainable future.
