LC Energy has been awarded the Napit Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation. This accreditation certifies that LC Energy has been successfully assessed against the requirements for the MCS001 and is approved to undertake the supply, design, installation, set to work and commissioning for biofuel heating systems.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an industry-led and nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).  MCS is also an eligibility requirement for the Government’s financial incentives, which include the Feed-in Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
MCS certifies microgeneration products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. MCS also certifies installations to ensure the microgeneration products have been installed and commissioned to the highest standard.
